Asia’s Largest Global Capability Centre
- Brookfield Asset Management is making an investment of USD 1 billion to establish Asia’s largest Global Capability Centre (GCC) in the Powai area of Mumbai.
- Brookfield Asset Management is India’s largest commercial real estate company.
- The campus will be spread over 6 acres and will have a built-up area of 2 million square feet, near IIT Bombay.
- The project is expected to be completed by 2029.
- Maharashtra announced its GCC policy earlier this year, valid until 2029–30.
