Bhopal Becomes India’s 26th City with a Metro Network
- On 20th December 2025, Union Minister Manohar Lal and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Bhopal Metro.
- With this, Bhopal became the 26th city in India where metro services have commenced.
- The total operational metro network length in India has now reached 1,090 kilometres.
- The total length of the Bhopal Metro is 30.8 kilometres, comprising two corridors:
- Orange Line – 16.74 km
- Blue Line – 14.16 km
- One depot
- Currently, under Phase I, the primary corridor of the Orange Line has been ....
