India-Russia: Partnership Reaffirmed at 23rd Annual Summit
On 4-5 December 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, during his State visit to India for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit.
- The Summit marked 25 years of the India-Russia Strategic Partnership (2000-2025) and reaffirmed the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership, anchored in trust, mutual respect and strategic convergence.
