Report of Select Committee on IBC (Amendment) Bill, 2025
On 17th December 2025, the Select Committee on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025 presented its report in the Lok Sabha.
- The Bill was introduced in Lok Sabha on 12th August, 2025, and referred to the Select Committee.

Definition of Service Provider
- The definition of the term ‘service provider’ be suitably modified to include ‘registered valuer’ to the list of entities that are provided under the IBC and definition for ‘registered valuer’ be suitably inserted.
