Washington Accords for Peace and Prosperity: DRC-Rwanda Reset
On 4th December 2025, US President hosted the signing of the Washington Accords for Peace and Prosperity between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda in Washington, DC.
- The accords aim to end decades of conflict, promote economic cooperation, and lay the foundation for lasting peace in the Great Lakes region.
