‘Urja Saksharta Abhiyan’
The Govt. of Madhya Pradesh has decided to launch ‘Urja Saksharta Abhiyan’ to make all the citizens aware about energy saving.
Features of this Campaign
- Efforts will be made to make all the citizens of the state energy literate according to a time bound action plan under the Urja Saksharta Abhiyan.
- The activities to be included in this campaign are to give information about alternative sources of energy and steps towards energy conservation.
- Students of schools and colleges will act as volunteers in the campaign.
- Efforts are also being made by state government to increase the share of electricity supply from renewable energy. ....
