Green Development Pact: Roadmap to a Sustainable Future
- To promote green and resilient development, G20 member countries adopted the 'Green Development Agreement' through the New Delhi Declaration.
- In this agreement, member countries highlight their collective commitment to finding important solutions such as the protection and conservation of forests and ecosystems, agreement on global land restoration targets and action against marine plastic waste.
- India's objective of 'Mission-Life' i.e. 'Lifestyle for the Environment' received immense support from all the countries.
- The 'Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Industry Coalition' (RECEIC) was launched during the summit and was accepted by all G20 leaders.
