7th NSA-level Meeting of the Colombo Security Conclave
On 20th November 2025, the Colombo Security Conclave held its 7th National Security Adviser-level meeting in New Delhi, where member states reaffirmed cooperation across five major security pillars.
- Hosted by India’s NSA Ajit Doval, the meeting reviewed the security situation in the Indian Ocean Region and emphasised enhanced collaboration through training and capacity building.
Colombo Security Conclave (CSC)
- Establishment: Formed in 2020 by India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives to strengthen regional maritime and security cooperation; Mauritius later joined as a member, and Seychelles became a full member at this meeting.
- Purpose: Serves as a platform for Indian Ocean Region (IOR) countries ....
