Establishment of Spiritual Economic Zones (SEZs)
- On 19th November 2025, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed officials to prepare a detailed roadmap for establishing Spiritual Economic Zones (SEZs) in the state’s two divisions — Garhwal and Kumaon.
- These zones will promote yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, naturopathy, local handicrafts, mountain products, and cultural activities.
