Expansion of Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary
- The Rajasthan Forest Department has recently added over 44,000 hectares of forest and revenue land to the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary.
- The total area of the sanctuary is now 98,762.1 hectares, including 92,448.8 hectares of forest land and 6,213.3 hectares of revenue land.
- Earlier, the notified area was 54,423.16 hectares.
