Global Tuberculosis Report 2025
On 12th November 2025, the Global Tuberculosis (TB) Report 2025 was released by the World Health Organization (WHO).
- It provides a comprehensive and up-to-date assessment of the TB epidemic, and of progress in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease, at global, regional and country levels.

- Highest Global Burden: India still accounts for 25% of the world’s TB cases and reported the most cases globally in 2024, maintaining its position as the world’s TB capital.
