Jawai–Luni–Rann of Kutch River System
- The Rajasthan Government is working on an ambitious waterway project that will connect Rajasthan to the Gulf of Kutch in the Arabian Sea through the Jawai–Luni–Rann of Kutch river system.
- On 28th October 2025, an MoU was signed in Mumbai between the Rajasthan River Basin & Water Resources Planning Authority and the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) for this project.
- This proposed project is a joint effort of IWAI, IIT Madras’ National Technology for Ports, Waterways & Coasts (NTCPWC), and the Water Resources Department.
