Sukhatal Lake
- The Uttarakhand High Court has directed the Nainital District Development Authority (NDDA) to submit a detailed Action-Taken Report on the beautification and construction works underway at Sukhatal Lake.
- Sukhatal Lake is the primary recharge source for Naini Lake and is located about 1.5 km from Nainital town.
- The lake holds water for only about 3 months a year and remains dry during the rest, hence the name “Sukhatal.”
