Concept of Public Service
- Public service is defined as a service, which is provided, by the government or an authorised body for the benefit of all the people in a particular society or community, which comes under its jurisdiction.
- Public Service can be provided either directly through a public sector or through financing of the provision of services through private sector.
- A body of government employees called Public Servants whose imperative is the administration of the country is mandated to carry out government policies to provide these public services.
