What is Corruption
Corruption is an act of deliberate and intentional exploitation of one’s position, status or resources directly or indirectly, for personal benefits through material gain or enhancement of power, prestige or influence beyond legitimate or sanctioned authority.
In general, corruption is a form of dishonesty or criminal activity undertaken by a person or organization entrusted with a position of authority, often to acquire illicit benefits.
There are broadly following types of Corruption:
