75/25 Initiative
- The Union Health Ministry of India has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative, the "75/25" program, on the occasion of World Hypertension Day (WHD) on 17th May 2023.
- This ambitious undertaking aims to screen and provide standard care to a staggering 75 million individuals with hypertension and diabetes by the year 2025.
- Under the initiative, 40,000 primary health care medical officers will be trained on standard treatment workflow for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) to realize healthcare services closer to the community through the Shashakt ....
