Chhattisgarh's First Floating Solar Plant
- Steel Authority of India Limited’s (SAIL) Chhattisgarh-based arm – Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) is in the process of installing the state’s first 15-megawatt (MW) floating solar project in their Maroda-1 reservoir in Durg district.
- The floating solar plant will generate an estimated annual green power of 34.26 million units, which will be consumed by BSP as captive power.
