SEBI Amends BRSR Framework
On 22nd May, 2024, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) made changes to the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) framework.
- These modifications were made according to the recommendations given by the S.K. Mohanty Committee (2023).
About BRSR Framework
- The BRSR framework is an essential reporting mechanism for the top 1000 listed companies in India, requiring them to disclose their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance in a standardised format.
