Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act [UAPA] and its Relevance
The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) is an Indian law enacted to prevent unlawful activities and associations in India. Originally enacted in 1967, it has been amended several times to address evolving security challenges, with significant amendments in 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2019.
