Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC)
- On 18th May 2025, the Apparel Export Promotion Council announced that it has signed an agreement with the Green Business Certification Institute (GBCI) to encourage sustainable manufacturing within the garment industry.
- AEPC is the official body representing apparel exporters in India. It supports them with information, advice, and technical guidance, including access to trade statistics, potential markets, and international fair participation.
- Sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, AEPC was incorporated in 1978.
- Its primary function is to promote, advance, and develop the export of garments from India.
- AEPC provides various services to exporters, including information on trade policies, FTAs, ....
