CCI (Determination of Cost of Production) Regulations, 2025
On 6th May 2025, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) introduced the Competition Commission of India (Determination of Cost of Production) Regulations, 2025.
- The new regulations repeal the 2009 Cost Regulations and reflect evolving global practices in competition law.
Aim
- Modernising and clarifying how production costs are calculated—particularly in the context of identifying anti-competitive practices like predatory pricing and deep discounting.
