Cargo Handling & Growth
- Total Cargo Handled: ~855 million tonnes in FY 2024-25, up from 819 million tonnes in FY 2023-24.
- Annual Growth Rate: 4.3% in cargo handling.

- Container throughput
- Fertilizer cargo
- POL (Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants)
Commodities Handled at Major Ports (FY 2024-25)
- POL (crude, petroleum products, LPG/LNG): 254.5 million tonnes (29.8%)
- Container traffic: 193.5 million tonnes (22.6%)
- Coal: 186.6 million tonnes (21.8%)
- Others: Includes iron ore, pellets, fertilizers, etc.
Port-wise Achievements
- Paradip Port Authority (PPA) & Deendayal Port Authority (DPA): First-time cargo handling of over 150 million tonnes.
- Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA): Handled 7.3 million TEUs, marking a 13.5% YoY increase.
