UN Peacekeeping Ministerial 2025
On 14th May 2025, India made significant commitments to enhance global peacekeeping at the United Nations Peacekeeping Ministerial held in Berlin (Germany) reaffirming its leadership and dedication to international peace efforts.
Key Points
- Major Troop and Unit Pledges: India committed to deploying a Quick Reaction Force (QRF) Company, a male armed police unit (CRPF/mixed), a women-led police unit, a Counter-Explosive Ordnance Disposal (IED/EOD) Unit, a K9 unit, and a SWAT unit to UN Peacekeeping Missions.
