Uttar Pradesh Expands ODOP Scheme with 12 New Products
- The Uttar Pradesh government has included 12 new products under its One District, One Product (ODOP) Scheme, bringing the total number of products under the ODOP scheme to 74.
- ODOP scheme was launched in January 2018 and it aims to popularise and boost the sales of indigenous and specialised products/crafts in the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
- The objective is to create employment opportunities in the state, boost exports from the state, and help the state achieve a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2029.
Newly included Products under ODOP
- Baghpat -Agricultural implements and Accessories,
- Saharanpur- Hosiery Products,
- Firozabad-Food Processing,
- Ghaziabad- Metal Products and ....
