Venus Missions: Shukrayaan-1, DAVINCI, VERITAS

Venus, often called Earth’s “twin” in size and position, has been the target of many missions, primarily focused on studying its atmosphere and surface.

Shukrayaan-1 (ISRO – India)

• India’s first Venus mission, scheduled for launch in March 2028 via LVM-3 rocket.
• 2,500 kg orbiter equipped with 16 Indian and international instruments.
