JANANI Platform: Strengthening Maternal & Child Healthcare Services
On 7th May 2026, in a significant step towards strengthening maternal and child healthcare services in the country, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched JANANI (Journey of Antenatal, Natal and Neonatal Integrated Care) platform.
What is JANANI?
- Service-oriented: It is a service-oriented digital platform to monitor and maintain the digital health records of women during their reproductive age.
- Focus: Ensuring continuous tracking of maternal and child health services, from pregnancy to postnatal and child care.
- Developed by: Developed as an upgraded version of the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) portal.
- Services: Supports antenatal care, delivery preparedness, institutional delivery, postnatal care, ....
