Swadeshi

On 12th May 2026, Government-backed e-commerce platform DigiHaat has launched “Swadeshi,” a dedicated digital marketplace aimed at promoting authentic “Made-in-Bharat” products and strengthening local production ecosystems across the country.

  • The initiative has been introduced in alignment with the vision of building an Atmanirbhar Bharat through Swadeshi-driven commerce.
  • The ‘Swadeshi’ marketplace will function within the DigiHaat app and offer a wide range of products, including food grains, seed products, apparel, handicrafts, home décor items, bags, and other daily essentials sourced from Indian producers.
