Women-Led Rural Enterprise Revolution Through SHE-MART Initiative
The Ministry of Rural Development,through the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), organised a two-day National Consultation on SHE-MARTs (Self Help Entrepreneurs-Marketing Avenues for Rural Transformation) on 14th-15th May2026 , at the Mayfair Convention Hall, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
What is SHE-MARTs?
- Announced in the Union Budget 2026-27, it aims to empower women entrepreneurs by creating community-owned retail outlets within cluster-level federations of self-help groups.
