First Medical College in North East
- National Medical Commission has granted approval for the establishment of the Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, which will become the first medical college in the northeastern state.
- The medical college will start operating from the current academic session, and initially, shall offer a total of 100 MBBS seats for the 2023-24 academic session.
- Out of the 100 MBBS seats, 85 will be reserved for students from Nagaland domicile, while the remaining 15 seats will be open to applicants from other ....
