Major Economies Forum on Energy and Climate Change
- Recently, the leaders meeting of Major Economies Forum (MEF) on Energy and Climate Change was convened virtually by the United States of America.
- The Forum was launched in 2009 by the then US President Barack Obama.
- It is aimed at facilitating dialogue among major emitting countries, both developed and developing, to garner the political leadership needed to further the efforts against climate change.
