Fight Hepatitis C Virus
- Hepatitis C is a viral infection that affects liver. This can cause both short-term and long-term illness.
- Hepatitis C is spread through contact with infected blood. It can be transmitted by sharing infected needles or syringes, or through unsafe medical procedures such as blood transfusions with untested blood products.
- Symptoms of hepatitis C include fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dark urine and yellowing of the skin or eyes (Jaundice).
- According to WHO, hepatitis C virus infection has occurred in all regions of the world. Its highest prevalence is in the Mediterranean region where about 12 million people are infected ....
