GP-DRASTI initiative
- Recently, the Gujarat Police announced the launch of the Gujarat Police – Drone Response and Aerial Surveillance Tactical Interventions (GP-DRASTI) initiative.
- It aims to enhance policing through drone technology, reduce response times and improve overall public safety.
- The primary goal is to improve the speed of police responses. Drones will be deployed to crime scenes alongside traditional PCR vans.
