India’s Turf: A Global Investor Haven
- According to the 27th Global CEO Survey 2024, India has risen as an investment destination from 9th place in 2023 to 5th place globally in 2024.
- Between 2014 and 2024, total FDI increased by 119% compared to the previous decade.
- India attracted USD 991 billion in FDI from 2000 to 2024, with 67% (USD 667 billion) coming in the past decade.
- FDI in the manufacturing sector rose by 69%, from USD 98 billion during 2004–14 to USD 165 billion during 2014–24.
- The contribution of the services sector to Gross Value Added (GVA) has increased from 50.6% in FY 2014 to 55.3% in FY 2025.
