ATL Sarthi & Mentor India Academy Launched
- On 4th April 2026, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI Aayog launched the ATL Sarthi and Mentor India Academy in Telangana to strengthen grassroots innovation among school students.
- The initiative will support 379 Atal Tinkering Labs across the state through structured mentorship and institutional backing.
- It aims to help students transform ideas into real-world solutions, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation at an early stage.
- The programme focuses on mentorship, teacher training, and incubation pathways, moving beyond just infrastructure support.
- ATLs will be grouped into regional clusters, with Vardhaman College of Engineering serving as the nodal institution in Telangana.
