SAMPANN Platform
On 2nd April 2026, the Union Government signed agreements with the State Government of Goa and the Cochin Port Authority to adopt SAMPANN Platform.
- Launched in 2018, SAMPANN (System for Accounting and Management of Pension) is a digital platform developed by the Department of Telecommunications to simplify pension and financial account management.
- Managed by the Office of the Controller General of Communication Accounts (CGCA), the platform aims to modernise pension processing across government departments.
- It allows for end-to-end management of pensions, from sanction and authorization to accounting and direct payment into pensioners’ bank accounts.
