Voice of Global South Summit 2023
On 12-13 January, 2023, India hosted a two-day Voice of Global South Summit. The Summit was held in virtual format and saw participation of Leaders and Ministers from 125 countries of the Global South.
- India convened this one of a kind Summit to focus Global South’s attention on priorities, perspectives and concerns of the developing world. (Global South refers to the developing and the less-developed countries of the world).
- The Summit was held under the theme “Unity of Voice, Unity of Purpose”.
- In the Summit, India said countries of the Global South should together call for a global agenda of Respond, Recognise, Respect, ....
