On 25th January, 2024, the Ministry of Education released All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) 2021-2022.
- The Ministry has been conducting All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) since 2011, covering all higher educational institutions located in Indian Territory and imparting higher education in the country.
Major Highlights of AISHE 2021-22
- In 2021-22, the overall gross enrolment ratio (GER) in higher education for the age group 18-23 years increased to 28.4%, from 27.3% in 2020- 21 and 23.7% in 2014- 15, the base year.
