Diamond Jubilee Celebration of Supreme Court
On 28th January, 2024, the Prime Minister (PM) inaugurated the Diamond Jubilee celebration of the Supreme Court.
- On the occasion, the PM also launched citizen-centric information and technology initiatives that include Digital Supreme Court Reports (Digi SCR), Digital Courts 2.0 and a new website of the Supreme Court.
Brief Description of Supreme Court
- The Supreme Court came into existence on January 26, 1950 with the coming into force of the Constitution.
