- Government e-Market Place (GeM), established in August 2016, is a world-class, robust digital portal.
- The portal facilitates end-to-end procurement of goods and services by various Central and State Government departments, organizations and affiliated Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
- On this portal, government buyers can purchase products from vendors and service providers across the country through an integrated online system in a paperless, cashless and contactless ecosystem.
- GeM is a category driven e-marketplace with a comprehensive catalog of over 11,600 product categories and over 300 service categories.
