India International Science Festival Engages Public with Science
- The 9th 'India International Science Festival (IISF)-2023' was organized from January 17-20, 2024. The festival brings together talented people in science and innovation and provides a platform for scientific exchange and learning.
- The 8th Mahotsav was held in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) from January 21-24, 2023. The first IISF was held in New Delhi in 2015, since then eight editions have been organized in different cities of India. In 2021, Department of Space and Department of Atomic Energy became integral parts of IISF.
- The theme of this 9th edition was 'Science and Technology Public Outreach in Amrit Kaal'.
