Bamanwas Kankar Panchayat Becomes Rajasthan’s First Organic Panchayat
- Taking a major step towards a sustainable future, Bamanwas Kankar Panchayat has become Rajasthan’s first fully certified organic gram panchayat.
- To formally mark this achievement, the panchayat organized an oath-taking ceremony against chemical farming and animal husbandry on 2 January 2026.
- The transformation was supported by the Co-Farmers Federation of Organic Societies and Producer Companies (COFED).
- The panchayat is located in the newly formed Kotputli–Behror district.
- It comprises seven villages/hamlets.
- The seven hamlets are: Bamanwas, Nangalhedi, Raah ka Mala, Bhadana ki Bhal, Tolawas, Khariya ki Dhani, and ....
