Centenary Celebrations of the Ol Chiki Script
- On 29th December 2025, President Droupadi Murmu attended the centenary celebrations of the Ol Chiki script of the Santhali language at Dishom Jaherthan in the Karandih area of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
- On the occasion, the President performed traditional worship at the Jaherthan and paid floral tribute to the bust of Pandit Raghunath Murmu, regarded as the creator of the Ol Chiki script.
- Addressing the 22nd Parsi Maha Santhali Conference, the President delivered her speech in Santhali.
- She appreciated efforts to translate the Constitution into the Santhali language using the Ol Chiki ....
