Decarbonising MSMEs: Roadmap for Green Transition
On 21st January 2026, NITI Aayog unveiled a comprehensive report, titled “Roadmap for Green Transition of MSMEs”, outlining pathways for the sector to reduce carbon emissions and become more sustainable as India pursues its net zero by 2070 climate goals.

- The Roadmap is a strategic 10-year action plan designed to guide India’s 69 million Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) towards sustainable, low-carbon growth.
