India-UAE Relations
On 19th January 2026, the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, paid an official visit to India, during which both sides reviewed and further strengthened their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership across economic, strategic, technological and people-centric domains.

- UAE sovereign wealth funds encouraged to participate in NIIF Infrastructure Fund II (2026).
- DP World and First Abu Dhabi Bank expanded presence in GIFT City, strengthening India’s global financial integration.

- A 10-year LNG supply agreement signed between HPCL and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Gas (ADNOC Gas).
