Smart Robo-Dog “SCORP”
- Recently, xTerra Robotics introduced a four-legged robot named “SCORP.”
- It is also known as a “Legged Mobile Manipulator Robot.”
- SCORP has been developed by xTerra Robotics in collaboration with IIT Kanpur.
- The robot is designed to operate efficiently in hazardous and high-risk environments unsafe for humans.
- It is equipped with AI capabilities, multiple high-resolution cameras, and stereo depth sensors.
- Each of its four legs is capable of performing independent and complex tasks.
- Prior to SCORP, xTerra Robotics developed the “SVAN Robots.”
