- National College for Policing and Law Enforcement (NCPLE)
- Recently, India’s External Affairs Minister inaugurated the NCPLE in the Maldives’ Addu city.
- The training academy would help strengthen law enforcement abilities and counter drug trafficking, a major concern in the country.
- Some of the objectives of this training academy are preventing and countering violent extremism as well as de-radicalisation and enhancing cooperation between the India and Maldives in tackling these issues.
