Virtual Smart Grid Knowledge Centre
On 10th March, 2022, the Union Minister for Power launched the Virtual Smart Grid Knowledge Centre (SGKC) and Innovation Park virtually as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Programme.
About Virtual Smart Grid Knowledge Centre
- The new Virtual Smart Grid Knowledge Centre located within the POWERGRID centre in Manesar is the first of its kind initiative by the Union government and technical assistance from USAID.
- This includes solutions such as Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), smart homes, microgrids, Outage Management System (OMS), etc.
- It will enable a digital footprint of the physical setup of SGKC, the need for which was felt during COVID-19 ....
