- On 24th March 2025, the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) successfully exported the first consignment of GI-Tagged Dalle Chilly from Sikkim to the Solomon Islands.
- Dalle Chilly, also known as Fire Ball Chilly, is known for its intense pungency, vibrant red colour, and rich nutritional value.
- With a Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) rating ranging from 100,000 to 350,000, it is highly valued for culinary and medicinal applications.
- The growing international demand for this specialty spice reflects the global recognition of India’s premium organic products.
