India and Vietnam Hold Fourth Policy Planning Dialogue
- On 4th March 2025, India and Vietnam held the fourth Policy Planning Dialogue in Delhi, focusing on regional and global geopolitical issues, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
- Discussions covered developments in the Indo-Pacific region, multilateral institutions, and priorities of the Global South.
- India and Vietnam share a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, formalized in 2016.
- India has maintained strong ties with Vietnam since diplomatic relations were established in 1972, building on earlier engagements during the 1954 Geneva Accord.
