India-Malaysia Discuss Trade Ties & AITIGA
- On 18th March 2025, Union Minister met with Malaysian Deputy Minister to discuss bilateral trade, ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA), and industrial collaboration.
- Both nations agreed to accelerate the review, aiming for a substantial conclusion by 2025.
- Malaysia remains India’s third-largest ASEAN trading partner, with trade reaching $20.02 billion in 2023-24.
